Aishwarya Jha is an award-winning author, designer & entrepreneur from New Delhi. Her debut novel, The Scent of Fallen Stars, won the prestigious Ram Nath Goenka Sahithya Samman for Fiction 2024, and her second novel, In the Moonlit Kingdom, is being published in September 2026, both from Penguin Random House. A mentee of the Asian Women Writers programme, her work has previously appeared on Scroll. in, The New Indian Express, The Bombay Literary Magazine, and several international literary journals, as well as an anthology at Oxford University. She has been a speaker at multiple high profile events, including the Jaipur Literature Festival, the Bhutan Echoes Festival, and FICCI Flo Fest.
Aishwarya is also the co-founder of Indophile, a venture dedicated to the promotion, preservation and documentation of the many cultures and histories of India, through initiatives such as Kahaani: Dilli Ki and Kahaani: Foods of India.
